Harrison Cassady
Harrison earned his PhD in Chemical Engineering from Penn State where he was advised by Mike Hickner. He grew up in Portland, OR, and holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Oregon State University, and a M.S. in Chemical Engineering from Penn State. His research examines how membrane properties such as ion exchange capacity and swelling impact the transport of electrolytes through AEMs, CEMs and BPMs, and involves both experimental work and modeling.
